Passion for Purple founder Bernadette Jones has been in love with the color purple since she was a very little girl. During a high school trip to Boston, Bernadette happened upon a store that would change the course of her life. That store was "Purple Panache", the first purple only store in the United States. It was located in the famous Faneuil Hall Marketplace and was purple heaven on earth.
Bernadette was able to meet the owner, Louise Berenson, and share her life long dream of one day owning her own all purple store. Louise was very supportive and became a mentor to Bernadette as she launched her very own online purple gift shop eight years later.
Since the humble beginnings of Passion for Purple, the company has gone on to be featured in the Baltimore Sun, set holiday sales numbers for the kiosk segment of mall properties and become the beloved favorite at vending shows.
Bernadette prides herself on the curating unique, fun and functional purple gifts for every occasion.
